Westbury Lions & Leos Street Clean – Report

Westbury Lions & Leos Street Clean – Report

The 5th of November saw the Lions and Leos of Westbury taking on the streets in an epic cleaning session.

Starting from the Market Place, our volunteers dispersed in small teams to pick up litter and offer a quick spruce up to areas around the town.  Our Leos took up the challenge with their usual enthusiasm and everyone did a superb job, receiving high praise from residents and traders in the town for their efforts.

Our thanks must go to Lions Mike and Doreen for organising the activity, Leo Leader Michelle and of course all of the other Leos, Lions and volunteers who came out to help.  Also thanks to Liam Cripps, the Community Engagement Officer from Wiltshire Council who provided all of the bags and safety equipment for us on the day.
