Record breaking crowds at Lions’ Donkey Derby

Over 1,000 people attended Westbury Lions’ Donkey Derby held at White Horse Country Park on Sunday, 2nd June, where just over £4,000 was raised to help the Lions support local causes.

The event featured donkey races, with the Lions’ bookies open to take all bets, and children were able to have a go at being a jockey. In between the donkey races, entertainment for families included fun fair rides, a ‘have a go’ circus area, stalls, family games and performances by Bratton Silver Band.
